Overall, I enjoy these pictures. I really like how she kept the element of structure and line in all of your pictures. These pictures are all very simple, which I think works for the subject matter. My favorite is the first picture because although it is not a very busy picture, the juxtaposition of the cross to the building is very interesting. The different lines and shapes in this picture keep my eyes moving throughout the entire piece. The picture of the picket fence reminds me of the 1950s and the idea of having the perfect front yard and the American dream. I like the third picture because of the lines in it, but I do not think it is a very strong piece because to me it seems a little average and doesn't make me think about the content matter. The third picture is nice, it definitely has a lot of character and gives off a lot of emotion, especially for people who are familiar with the East Lansing/MSU area.
